“Jackson and Landon”
Statuario Venato Marble - 50x80x25cm
In Jackson and Landon, the piece presents a tender study of newly born identical twins, captured in their first moments of life. Swaddled in blankets, one brother rests in a deep, peaceful sleep while the other remains alert, looking over his twin with an instinctive, protective gaze.
The figures emerge from a block of rough-hewn stone, a deliberate contrast between the soft, delicate features of the infants and the unyielding raw material from which they are carved. This "unfinished" aesthetic suggests the potential and unwritten future of the two lives within. Scattered at the base are toy building blocks—universal symbols of childhood—inscribed with initials representing the twins and their parents, alongside their date of birth.
